Who we’re looking for:

The Field Operations Consultant provides customer support and technical input for the management of the commercial fleet, by ensuring vehicles and/or equipment supplied is built to industry and regulatory standards, maintained within set guidelines and operating within the industry specification and in an environment that the vehicle/equipment is designed.

The Field Operations Consultant also provides overview, management and auditing of the established repair networks that maintain FleetPartners assets.

What you’ll be doing:

Establish and Maintain Reliability and Maintenance programs to ensure HCV vehicles are maintained in accordance with OEM standards and FleetPartners Maintenance Policy:

• Establish maintenance programs for new clients (COR Compliance).

• Ensure that all clients, suppliers and Maintenance Controllers fully understand the programs established.

• Conduct regular audits of maintenance programs and make regular recommendation to improve costs, safety and environment or operational performance. This includes the implementation of all recommendations accepted by clients and/or FleetPartners.

• Maintain all documentation as required to meet any compliance standards as outlined by FleetPartners.

• Provide an escalation point to the Maintenance Control team in the event they cannot solve a problem due to its technical nature.

Identify and manage external repair networks to ensure that all maintenance work is completed by suitably qualified people:

• Conduct regular auditing on established HCV repair network suppliers (workshop safety audits).

• Identify and complete due diligence on new repairers that will provide maintenance services to FleetPartners.

• Assist to ensure that all network supplier databases are maintained.

• Provide an escalation point for complaints against suppliers.

Provide support to all stakeholders as required to ensure that the FleetPartners HCV products and services are delivered with the highest level of quality:

Provide support and direction to clients as requested. This includes participation in client meetings as required.

• Complete End of Lease inspections to provide support to customers returning vehicles at the end of lease if required.

• Provide internal FleetPartners stakeholders support to deliver upon sales and relationship requests inclusive of supporting tenders.

• Actively participate in the review and or redesign of any procedures required to deliver services to customers.

Carry out regular fleet audits of client fleets, making sure vehicles are being serviced and maintained according to relevant maintenance programs.

Monitor and manage issues as it relates to vehicles ‘In-build’

• Assist in monitoring vehicle build management schedules to ensure vehicles are delivered on-time to our clients.

• Carry out new vehicle inspections and commissioning to FleetPartners standards. This includes ensuring that vehicles being delivered to clients are delivered in accordance with the ordered specification and meet an acceptable level of workmanship.

• Identify and solve any ‘in-build’ issues as they arise including problems as it relates to the workmanship or ordered specification.
