Senior Project Manager (Event Marketing)

As the Senior Project Manager for Maker Lab, working on our technology client paving the way for digital transformation, you will oversee and play a central role in priority B2B industry events. Your responsibilities will primarily be delivering world-class, high-quality, innovative, and engaging live, virtual and hybrid programs as part of larger marketing programs amp; campaigns. These event experiences will be for several high visibility and high investment programmes that will impact brand perception, competitive positioning of our client and demand generation.


Your work will include leading amp; managing production amp; creative partner agencies, managing overall project timelines, documents, and budgets, and working alongside our team to drive marketing goals across a series of events. You will coordinate across multiple regional teams, develop best practices, champion innovation, look for creative solutions to achieve goals and contribute to internal team initiatives to improve processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape each program’s experiences and lead the execution of these experiences with the client, internal teams, and agency partners.


Role:

  • Project management of events and programs and leading communications with cross-functional teams across multiple markets in order to align goals and deliverables
  • Bring synergies between all departments and stakeholders by providing visibility on how various initiatives and programs interlink and overlap
  • Drive regular cadence of alignment meetings to ensure all are aligned, pre and post events and programs
  • Assist with event production and logistics from development of content, promotions,
  • registration management, presentations, design, graphics/multimedia and other
  • event-related marketing materials, to technical projects, such as audio/video production,
  • lighting, and staging
  • Manage timelines and workback schedules for multiple agencies working on different
  • workstreams across multiple projects consecutively
  • Lead and manage a network of vendors and agencies across production, creative amp; content who deliver key marketing operational components in a scalable manner.
  • Develop a comprehensive report post-event to communicate performance, ROI and learnings.Develop best practices and champion innovation across programs in different markets for locally executed physical and hybrid events.
  • Drive registration (website) amp; invite process

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of event management experience, including large-scale, high-profile events in the technology industry
  • Extensive enterprise event management experience in the cloud industry is a huge plus.
  • Strong project management, ability to work across project teams on several projects at once, and previous experience working with agencies and event vendors
  • Demonstrate multi-stakeholder management skills across a senior level
  • A detail-oriented mindset to manage the production and delivery of programmes
  • A creative mindset to innovate and maintain the creative/cultural edge of programmes in the technology industry
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker and a good communicator who can thrive in a fast-moving environment
