Job Description

Our dream candidate will be an outstanding performer with recent experience in Human Resources, who is looking to work in a rewarding environment where they can grow as an individual, but also with a passion to attribute to the successful growth of our Place people and businesses.

Your role will be more diverse and varied than you have ever imagined, with a great opportunity to advance your skills and nurture your true generalist nature. Be prepared to be pulled in several directions, whilst supporting the needs of the 400+ staff members across 14 sales offices and our corporate function. We’re excited to be advertising this position due to the promotion of an existing team member.

This is a full-time opportunity, available for immediate commencement (or we can work with your timeline) and will be based at our beautiful Head Office located on James Street.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing job offers and rejections.
  • Manage the employee onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and increase employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Administer employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition out of the company.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for employees, including training sessions and career advancement programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a HR administration or coordinator role.
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
