Role Description
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery a $20m precinct project, including roads, pavements, earthworks, utilities, stormwater, landscaping and building works in a live environment.
This is a complex, sophisticated project, which will suit someone who is eager to take on a challenge and lead their own projects.
Located in our Sydney office, you’ll be responsible for:
- Scoping of works and design stages of the projects.
- Managing the tender and procurement phases.
- Engaging with contractors and consultants.
- Managing the construction/delivery phase of the projects.
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required.
- Overseeing contract management, variations and claims.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrated experience as a Client-Side Project Manager, or have building consultancy experience with Civil Projects.
You could have experience delivering road reconstruction projects, utilities works, pavement projects, stormwater drains, urban design, landscaping, tenant and building projects.
You’ll also need:
- The ability to understand ‘the big picture’ of what the client is trying to achieve with their project the reason for the project is critical to the success of the organisation.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with design and construction phases of civil (roads/utilities) projects.
- The ability to operate in a live environment.
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
