About the Role

  • Full time, Permanent (x2 positions available)
  • Classification: Corporate Support Services Level 3 with a salary range of $77,656 - $83,565 per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary Packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Head Office, Preston

Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.

About your new role

The Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing the fortnightly and monthly processing of payroll and salary packaging, responding to staff queries and maintaining employee records. The position is part of a team and works under the direction of the National Payroll Manager.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Extensive Payroll Experience
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to deal with a high volume of transactions
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills

Desirable

  • Certificate IV Payroll Administration
  • Experience with iChris, EmpLive and/or Technology One
  • Experience with relevant Modern Awards

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (Police check) disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Australian Working Rights
  • As part of Neami’s condition of employment you will need to provide appropriate evidence of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (having received three doses) to Neami National.
