As a Junior Game Designer, you will join and cooperate with an experienced cross-discipline team working on AAA PC and console titles, where your expertise, enthusiasm, and communication skills will help ensure that the designs of our games are aligned with the overall vision and implemented consistently with those designs.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a game designer, member of the design team or related discipline
• Solid understanding of game design processes and methodology
• Working experience in Unreal Engine 4/5
• Experience implementing gameplay features using a scripting language, e.g. Lua, Blueprints
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, including the ability to write designs and game content in clear and concise language
• Fantastic games knowledge, especially in the area of racing games
• A demonstrable analytical and iterative approach to solving design problems

Responsibilities

• Prototyping and scripting features in Unreal Engine 4/5
• Using UE4/UE5 editor tools to place racetracks, cameras, and other content
• Creation of written specifications for game features
• Working with game design colleagues to solve emergent design problems
• Writing scripts and other game content, and preparing it for localisation
• Helping to reinforce teamwork and a healthy studio culture
