The position
A vacancy has become available for an assertive and self-motivated Despatch Officer to join our team in Richlands, Brisbane.
The position is responsible for:
- Preparing consignment notes
- Tracking proof of deliveries
- Arranging deliveries
- Preparing Run sheets
- Consolidating delivery orders for Local Metro runs
- Arranging store reports and labels for storage contractors
- Printing labels and organising the despatch of labels and documentation to external warehouses.
- Answering marketing enquiries on the movements of non-local deliveries
- Assisting Sales representatives and other staff with queries
- Administrative duties such as answering phones and emails
About you
- You will have previously worked in a Despatch office support role, with experience in liaising with a variety of people including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions.
- Previous experience with compiling run sheets would be an advantage
- Exceptional time management ability.
- Will be computer literate in the Microsoft suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to think on your feet.
